Day 2 in China

Last nite Dr. Moody, his wife, and two sons invited us to dinner. What a delightful place and family!!! It is simply amazing what they have been able to accomplish, strictly though donations. There are numerous oil paintings of Chinese children on the walls of the mail building. The children have a wonderful play area (they can't use it now because, did I mention, it's COLD here!!!). This experience certainly humbles one. The things we take for granted. How spoiled we are. And, how lucky we are to have found the Phillip Hayden Foundation.

Tomorrow we will be in Bejing where we will enjoy some cultural experiences, thanks to our guide, Barbara. So, thanx for watching our progress. more later.

If you will soon be visiting this wonderful country and delightful people, remember to pack you items like shampoo, hair spray, tooth paste and other toiletries, pack them in your baggage that will checked - don't carry these on board with you, unless you have the very small containers.
